We carry ready-made áo dài and also take custom orders, so you can walk in, see the fabrics and embroidery up close, and figure out which route fits your wedding date. Here's how it usually works.

Ready-made or custom: which one for your wedding áo dài?

We do both, and the right choice depends mostly on your timeline and how specific your vision is.

• Ready-made áo dài: good if you want to see the actual piece on you before deciding. You can look at the color, the embroidery, and the fabric in real light.
• Custom (may đo riêng): good if you have a particular design in mind, or you want the áo dài made to your own measurements.

Red is still the color many brides think of first, especially for tea ceremony (lễ gia tiên). Seeing the embroidery in person matters, because photos don't show how the thread catches the light or how heavy the detail feels.

When to start: about 3 months before the wedding

For a wedding áo dài, we recommend ordering about 3 months ahead. That gives enough room for choosing a design, getting measurements right, and making the áo dài without rushing. If your wedding is sooner than that, message us and we'll talk through what's possible.

You can measure yourself at home and send your measurements to us on Messenger (m.me/aodaiamvi). We'll look them over and advise on the right size. We don't promise a size based on height or weight alone, so your measurements are what we go by.

Ordering for the whole wedding party? Write down each person's name and measurements, take a photo of the list, and send it over Messenger. We'll reply with which size each person should wear. This works well for bridesmaids, groomsmen, and parents on both sides.

A quick note on cost and shipping

Shipping is a flat $10 per order, no matter how many pieces you buy. Sales tax of 8.25% applies only to Texas addresses, so for Houston orders it will be added at checkout. If family or friends live outside Houston, we ship across the entire US, so they can order too.
